Breakfast with Santa

We had quite the treat. Kylie had us over for breakfast and a certain jolly sir stopped in for a quick visit. The kids were SO excited to see Santa and sit on his lap to tell him what they wanted for Christmas.  Then, he surprised each kid with a gift from his bag with each of their names on it.  Smart Santa.

Thanksgiving

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Ours was nice and relaxing (and filling)!

This is a picture of Reese on our way to the Turkey Trot. The boys (Ryan, Brandon and Rob) pushed the girls (Reese and Payton) in strollers. It was a great time! DSCN0394We went to family dinner at The Walkers house. Jamie made all the fixins and it was great!

Weekend at the Farm

We had a GREAT time out at the Rambo farm (Reese calls them Mr. and Mrs. Rainbow) last weekend. The Pickens’, The Genthners’ and, of course, The Johnston’s met us there and we relaxed, ate, drank and laughed a lot. Good times!

Reese LOVED riding Ruby. She kicked her little heels and used the reigns! And, I taught her to say “Yee Haw!” and “Giddy Up”DSCN0358

Even Jake took a ride.

Reese, Live in Concert (again)

It’s one of those parental traps we so easily fall into. You watch your kids do something funny. You re-tell the funny story to others, and it’s never that funny to them. Never.  But, when you are lucky enough to capture the moment on camera, then you show it to others, assuming they’ll think it’s just as funny. It’s never as cute and funny to others. (Well, maybe to the grandma’s)

Ryan and I think this video is funny and cute and adorable and so on. It’s my parental duty to show this to others. (This blog is my excuse to post things without feeling the guilt of sending a 5MB file to tons of people’s email inbox.)

I hope you’ll watch and enjoy half as much as we enjoy this little gal!
